This Privacy Policy explains how CoinPing (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information on our Windows desktop application (the “App”) and our website coinping.org (the “Site”).
We designed CoinPing to be local-first and account-free. You can use all features without signing up, and we do not collect personal data from the App.

1) What the App Does — and What Stays on Your Device
CoinPing provides three tools:
Airdrop Calendar
Currency Converter
Target Alerts (price/percent triggers)
All App data (watchlists, saved airdrops, alert settings, preferences, target values) is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate cloud sync, user accounts, or remote storage for these features.
2) Data We Do (and Don’t) Collect
From the App
Personal data: Not collected. No accounts, no email, no passwords, no identifiers.
Analytics/Crash reports: Not collected.
Diagnostics/telemetry: Not collected.
Approximate location: The App may read system time zone to format dates/fiat defaults; we do not collect or transmit location to our servers.
Notifications: Local only (generated by your device; no external push provider or token).
From the Site (coinping.org)
Server logs (standard): When you visit the Site, our hosting and WordPress stack may record standard HTTP logs (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested URL, user-agent, referrer). We use these for security and essential operations only.
Cookies: We do not set analytics or marketing cookies. The Site may use strictly necessary cookies required for basic WordPress operations.
We do not sell or share personal information.
3) Legal Bases & Purposes (for Site logs only)
Because the App does not transmit personal data to us, the only processing we perform is limited to Site operations.

4) Sharing and Processors
We do not sell data. Limited sharing occurs only to operate the Site:
Hosting/WordPress infrastructure: to serve pages and maintain security (standard access logs).
We require that service providers use data solely to provide their services to us and apply appropriate safeguards.
We do not use third-party analytics, crash reporting, push notification services, or payment processors at this time.
5) International Transfers
Our company is based in the United States. Site access necessarily routes through our hosting infrastructure. Since we do not collect personal data from the App and set no non-essential cookies/analytics on the Site, international transfer considerations are minimal and limited to standard internet routing and hosting.
6) Retention
Site server logs: kept only as long as necessary for security and operations, per default hosting retentionpolicies.
App data: remains on your device until you delete it (e.g., uninstall the App or remove data via your OS).
7) Your Choices & Controls
App data: manage or delete anytime on your device (e.g., remove alerts, clear saved airdrops, uninstall the App).
Notifications: control local notifications in your Windows settings and within the App.
Site: use browser settings to manage cookies (we use only strictly necessary ones).

8) Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures:
TLS for the Site to encrypt data in transit.
Minimal data surface: no accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics, no remote crash logs.
Hosting best practices and access controls for Site infrastructure.
No method is 100% secure; please keep your system updated and use reputable security software.
9) Children’s Privacy
CoinPing is suitable for a general audience (0+). The App collects no personal data and uses local-only processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us via the Site (e.g., email), contact Support@coinping.com and we will delete it.
10) Third-Party Links & Content
The App or Site may link to external resources (e.g., airdrop pages or exchanges). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review those sites’ policies before providing information.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on the Site with the “Last Updated” date. Substantive changes will be communicated on the Site.
